The problem in Hartford

I just posted a message on Connecticut Local Politics regarding the hissy fit between Gov. Rell and Mayor Perez and the state of affairs in Hartford.

Under most circumstances, I try to leave race out of a majority of my posts but since I was raised in the North-End section of Hartford, I feel compelled to speak out on this issue. I'm going to give this some real hard thought and try my best to explain the real situation facing Hartford from an African-American perspective.
